Sunday and still plenty snow

The Glasgow Academy again today. We swapped groups with the nordic skiing instructors taking our group from yesterday out and we worked with yesterday's skiers. The shovel up we made yesterday was strong enough to walk over today. we also had an Ice Box, a tool for making igloos from even poor powder snow. Reports from the 'Gorms today were of people grinding to a halt on the floor of Coire an t Sneachda as the snow reached their chests. There is deep soft snow on all levels and all aspects, even if you could have reached a climb safely I dont think you would have topped out today. Shovels and snow shoes were of more use this weekend than ice axes.
