Today I was doing some staff training for The Ice Factor. Isi is working towards her MIA Assessment and as part of the process we went to look at a mountaineering day on Buachaille Etive Mor. On the drive down to Glencoe I could see that the snow line was in places down to 600m so it promised to be a chilly day. Fortunately things melted off to some extent as went up and down the classic Curved Ridge.
